Win More Customers. Sell More Batteries. Grow Recurring Revenue

Make battery installs easier to sell by removing the upfront cost barrier for customers.

HighFlow helps installers overcome the biggest barrier to battery sales, upfront cost. You install the system. We provide the retail energy plan, VPP and customer outcome.

Most customers don’t say no to batteries. They say no to the upfront cost.

HighFlow changes that.

Instead of selling hardware alone, you can offer customers solar, battery and a pathway to a $0 electricity bill.

That’s a very different conversation.

HighFlow is also building battery pathways to support installer growth, aligning product supply and system performance with the HighFlow retail and VPP model.

The BYOB Offer

Most battery installers already run solid businesses. HighFlow is designed to help you get more value from the work you’re already doing. We also help installers convert more battery deals by shifting the conversation from upfront cost to long-term energy value.

Our Bring Your Own Battery (BYOB) program gives installers a simple way to:

  • Convert more of the leads you’re already paying for
  • Offer customers something genuinely different
  • Create an ongoing revenue stream from every install
  • Generate income from batteries you’ve already installed

Instead of selling hardware alone, you can offer customers solar, battery and $0 electricity bill

What This Means for Your Business

Convert more leads

A pathway to a $0 electricity bill shifts the conversation from upfront system cost to long-term customer value. That makes battery conversations easier and helps more customers say yes.

Earn ongoing income

Installers receive their normal installation revenue, plus an ongoing revenue share through the HighFlow VPP.

Reduce battery cost friction

HighFlow gives installers a more compelling way to position battery value. Instead of the battery being seen only as an added cost, it becomes part of a broader electricity and VPP offer.

Monetise past installs

Already installed batteries in the field? Many of those systems can join the program too, turning past work into a recurring income stream.

Built for Installers

HighFlow works alongside your existing business.
You keep the customer relationship, complete the installation and we manage the retail energy plan and VPP participation in the background.

The result is simple

more value from every battery you install

Battery Supply and BYOB Pathway

HighFlow is also building approved battery pathways to support installer growth.

Through our BYOB model, installers can bring eligible battery systems into the program, while HighFlow continues expanding compatible product options and supply.

This includes partnerships that support battery supply, product positioning and integration into the HighFlow retail and VPP model.

The goal is simple:

make it easier for installers to access battery products that align with how the HighFlow model works.

What HighFlow Adds To Your Install

With HighFlow, you’re no longer just selling solar and a battery. You’re offering your customer a broader energy outcome that combines battery value, electricity savings and VPP participation.

A $0 Electricity Bill

Customers move onto a HighFlow electricity plan that has:

  • $0 daily supply charge
  • $0 electricity usage within their monthly allowance
  • network charges absorbed by HighFlow

Their battery participates in the HighFlow Virtual Power Plant (VPP), which helps fund the included electricity allowance.

The result is simple, customers see a $0 electricity bill.

A stronger battery value proposition

For installers, this helps reposition the battery from an added upfront expense to part of a larger customer outcome. That can make it easier to sell battery-inclusive systems and create more value from each job.

How The Partnership Works

  1. You install the solar + battery system
  2. The customer joins the HighFlow electricity plan
  3. The battery participates in the HighFlow VPP
  4. The customer receives a monthly electricity allowance
  5. You earn an ongoing revenue share

HighFlow handles:

  • electricity retail
  • VPP operations
  • billing and compliance
  • customer onboarding

You focus on what you do best:

winning customers and installing systems.

For the installer, this helps remove one of the biggest barriers to battery adoption, upfront cost. The conversation shifts from “Can I afford this?” to “How does this system work over time?”

About allowance tiers and system sizing

Your customer’s monthly bill-free electricity allowance is linked to the size and capability of their solar and battery system.

Larger systems are able to support higher allowance tiers, while smaller systems may qualify for lower tiers.

To keep this fair and transparent, HighFlow Energy uses a published Sizing Guide that outlines the minimum solar, battery and inverter requirements for each allowance tier

HighFlow Energy BYOB Sizing Guide

You don’t need to memorise this or work it out yourself, the customer eligibility check handles this automatically, but the guide is available if you’d like to understand how it works.
